RF Technician

KBM is looking for a RF Technician to provide support in the fabrication and integration of various components in support of DoD systems. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience with fabrication, assembly, modification, repair, test, and shop support to production.

Activity will include, but not limited to:

  • Assemble and wire 19 inch electronic chassis of RF components. Requires drilling and tapping aluminum plates to mount components, switches and LEDs. Routing and soldering DC power wiring. Building and routing RF cables. Checkout of DC power supplies, voltage regulators and cable assemblies.
  • Building shielded DC power cables with circular connectors.
  • Building semirigid coaxial RF cables.
  • Assist with checkout of RF chassis functionality using basic RF power meters and signal sources.


  • High School diploma required; associate's degree in advanced manufacturing experience in supporting the DoD is desired.
  • Ability to work with and on electrical (wire harness) materials, fabrication and assembly methods and common shop practices.
  • Able to interpret blueprints, sketches and written and verbal instructions.
  • Computer systems skills to work with programs required.
  • Must be able to work with others as part of a team which includes giving and receiving feedback, and assisting others in completion of tasks.
  • Position requires that the candidate meet requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.

Radar Analysts

KBM is seeking talented, motivated Radar Analysts to provide analysis, modeling & simulation, and testing support for complex sensor hardware and software systems. Since 1982 KBM has established a sound reputation as a premier provider of specialty research, development, engineering, information technology, business, logistics, and manufacturing services. Selected applicants will perform analysis, testing support, and evaluation of advanced radars and algorithms. These could be fielded or conceptual, and could include networked assets.

A BS in electrical engineering or other related scientific or technical field of study is required. Advanced degrees are preferred. All levels of experience in radar will be considered. Applicants should demonstrate familiarity with radar hardware and/or software functionality as well as familiarity with modeling of threats and electromagnetic phenomenology.

Selected applicants will be U.S. citizens and have a minimum of Secret security clearance.
